Watercolour & Mixed Media I have taken up regular watercolour painting late in life, but have always been interested in drawing and art and these skills have been useful in variour ways during university studies, primary teaching and craft/hobbies in retirement. In 2004, I joined the Otaki Watercolour Painters, with Jeanette Scaife as tutor. She was an excellent tutor for an artist new to watercolour painting. Jeanette moved to Upper Hutt and from 2007 the groul has had Pauline Hailwood from Manakau (North of Otaki) as tutor. She is very innovative, introducing many new approaches and skills and has really extended me and others in our painting. I have also been to very stimulating workshops in 2006/07/08 with Karlyn Holman, a visiting American watercolour artist which have improved my skills. I am willing to do commissions for paintings, but would need to work closely with the person concerned for a satisfactory outcome. Email jandamore@paradise.net.nz 04 904 6382
